TrashTimer für Mac

Doesn't do much, but generally does what it says. Generally, I'm only using this until Compost is updated for Snow Leopard (or whatever is coming next). 2 things on my machine (8-Core 2.66 mghz, OSX 10.6.7, TT 1.2): It doesn't delete folders, but does delete files within those folders. I can't turn it off at the PrefPane.

The preference needs to be restarted when you go to setup the TrashTimer under 10.6.6

I've been fooling around with this all morning, so far it works as advertized w/o any problem. I like the idea, but there's an obvious downside: it gives you two options, "remove items securely" and "remove items thoroughly". I assume both options are the equivalent of Apple's Secure Empty Trash (with a different number of passes). If so, and if you mistakenly trash something you later want to retrieve, you'll be s. o. l., since no restore program will be able to reclaim your data. Maybe it would be safer to give the user the option of a straightforward "empty trash" too.

Excellent idea and a great program. However in my experience it sometimes works and sometimes does not.
